Congratulations to Kamel Fergani on being inducted into the Canadian Bridge Federation Hall of Fame.
Recognized for his bridge expertise and his generosity in advising players at all levels, Mr. Fergani is a prominent figure on the greater Montreal bridge scene, with a long list of achievements:
- Six-time Canadian champion in team tournaments and once in pairs, he represented Canada eight times at the World Bridge Games;
- At the 2016 World Bridge Games, in Poland, he was a member of the Canadian team, which finished fifth, its best result in the past 20 years;
- He won the NABC Men’s Swiss Teams in 1988 and the Wernher Pairs in 2016;
- He won 6 gold, 5 silver and 10 bronze medals at the CNTC;
- He is one of the highest ranked Canadians in the World Bridge Federation Open category;
- During his career, he has taught over 3,000 bridge players and trained over 150 ACBL-accredited bridge teachers.
The induction ceremony will take place at 8:00 pm at:
