As an ACBL member, you will earn masterpoints when you play in clubs and tournaments. These points will be added to your membership account and you will be awarded various titles as you earn these points. To reach the coveted rank of Life Master, you will need 500 masterpoints, including a certain number of pigmented points. Effective January 1st, 2016, there are two new levels for Life masters: “Ruby” and “Sapphire”.

(6) At least 75 Black, 75 Silver, and 100 Red or Gold/Platinum, of which at least 50 must be Gold/Platinum

- 750 Bronze Life Master
- 1,000 Silver Life Master
- 1,750 Ruby Life Master
- 2,500 Gold Life Master
- 3,500 Sapphire Life Master
- 5,000 Diamond Life Master
- 7,500 Emerald Life Master
- 10,000+ Platinum Life Master and Grand Life Master

Where to earn “pigmented” points?
- Black: at regular club sessions
- Silver: in sectional tournaments
- Red: in regional tournaments
- Gold: in regional and national tournaments
- Platinum: in national tournaments (NABC)
