Dear Sir/Madam,

I accepted the presidency of the Montreal Bridge League with a great sense of pride and honor. This position comes with many challenges that I hope to overcome with the support of all the members of our new team.

Among the challenges that await my team and me are:

• The organization of the League itself;
• The organization and profitability of tournaments;
• Recruiting and retaining new members for the ACBL;
•  Actively supporting the League’s member clubs;
• Training and development programs.

I have been playing bridge for over thirty years, and it has become an essential part of my life. I experience immense pleasure in every game, wherever I play in any of the League’s clubs. I wish to share this pleasure with each of you.

We need volunteers to share this common passion. If you’d like to spare a few hours a year to help us, we would be delighted. Tournaments and professional activities are organized in groups. We always need your help.

Don’t have time to volunteer? Become a proud ambassador for bridge! Invite your friends and family to try this game and demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times at the bridge table.

I am fortunate to have a dynamic and dedicated team with whom I truly enjoy working. We have many more events planned for the coming years. I hope we will experience them together.
